A little beach trip after our DC trip? Sure, why not!
We landed from DC at 7:30 pm, and woke up 4am to drive to 30a, yolo! (Emerson even had herself a date in that short time too!) Unfortunately, Elle had to stay in Chattanooga for sorority initiations, but dad, Emerson and I had a fun 3-night beach vacay, staying in Gulf Place this time.
Since we left so early, we were able to have a full beach day. But first we grabbed food and drinks at The Perfect Pig.
You could see some damage from the hurricane that came through earlier in the week. Luckily our beach access wasn't bad, the last few steps were missing, but it was manageable.
Catching up on sleep on the beach, the best!
After the beach we adventured to Seaside.
Nigels, so yummy!
Then we met up with dad's fraternity brother, Sam, and his group at Red Fish Tacos.
Even the Di Ruscio's met up with us too!
Getting a morning walk in, loved the scenery!
We had the most beautiful weather on the beach!
Our view from our condo, it was just perfect for the 3 of us!
Dinner at Surfing Deer.
We then adventured over to Aly's beach for pictures and visited with another one of dad's fraternity brothers, Michael.
Another morning walk for me.
And another beautiful day at the beach for our last day. We even finally tried Pizza by the Sea for lunch, it was delish!
We ate dinner at 30A Cafe for the first time (not our favorite) then dad came home and went to bed. But Emerson and I met back up with the Di Ruscios in Seaside for our last night, fun fun!
Elle missed all the fun at the beach, but she did enjoy sorority initiations, especially for her lil sis Harper.
Emerson and I enjoyed her last day of fall break walking downtown on the walking bridge and around the aquarium. We even got smoothies.
